Guide: Guides specialize in one area of study within Tien Tao. They are able to describe techniques,
meditations, and answer basic questions about that area. In addition, a Guide is required to study
one additional skill area related to their specialization area.
Instructor: Instructors apprentice to Master Carpenter, specialize in one area of study within Tien
Tao, must be able to answer specific questions about the system, and are able teach classes. In
addition, an Instructor is required to study two additional skill areas related to their specialization.
Healer: The Healer must be able to discuss a person’s health and recommend various meditations
and/or treatments for specific ailments. The Healer must study three additional skills areas related to
healing.
Master Healer: The Master Healer is able to train Healers. This is an individual that has trained
extensively in many different areas and has a vast knowledge in the areas of personal development
and healing.

There are five types of certification within Tien Tao. All certifications,
except practitioner, require the applicant to master at least one
additional skill related to the applicant's specialization. For instance,
a Healer may decide to study massage, acupuncture, medicine,
herbology, etc. Guides and Instructors can be certified in Personal
Development, Healing, Energy Manipulation or Shamanism. Contact
